Classes will compromise of: Children’s Programs, both after school and in conjunction with local schools curriculum; Nutritional Programs, which restructure diet and eating habits to promote heath; 15 week Plot Cultivation, a hands-on learning experience on how to build, plant and harvest food in 15 weeks; Home Grown Methods, a class focused on teaching self-sustainability and how to utilize immediate resources for growing food at home, in a business, health care facility or a school; Food Preparation, a cooking class designed to teach students the basics components of how to cook healthy meals from chopping to soufflés; Food Preservation, a class teaching, pickling, jarring, preserving, dehydrating and wild fermentation methods for creating shelf stable foods; and Recipe Building, a cooking class teaching students how to ‘shop from their garden’ and create healthy meals.
